Walt Disney Character Breakfast

All children enjoy Disneyland in California and everyone; even adults will enjoy a Breakfast buffet with the Characters like Winnie the Pooh, Tigger the Tiger, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Captain Hook, Chip 'n Dale, and others to enjoy breakfast with.

What to Expect:
For those who have never been to one of these Character Breakfasts I would recommend coming in, finding a table and then take the pictures with the Characters first. Once the kids get all the excitement they can handle it's time to get in line to eat.

The buffet line has an assortment of foods and drinks. It's great to try a bit of everything and maybe come back for seconds on your favorites. Once everyone settles down to eat have a camera or camcorder ready for anything. This seems to be the time Tigger or Mickey likes to sneak up on the kids and it's great to capture the moment on film.

Recommendations:
Character breakfasts are fun for children and adults of any age. The Characters although they don't talk make you smile and laugh without having to say anything. Do a lot of fun hand gestures with them around your children like High 5's.

It's also wise to prepare your children for this experience and don't just expect them to jump in the crowd because it's Tigger the Tiger. These Characters seem huge to children and most kids have only seen them on TV which looks like 3 inch people to them. Some children do seem fearful at first and then realize that this is fun and join in. Let the children get comfortable at their own pace. Adults have fun with your kids and laugh! Don't worry about spilling anything or getting food fast. This breakfast is meant to be slow and take your time to enjoy everything.

Plan on staying for 45 minutes - 1 hour and get plenty of pictures.

*Another suggestion if your kids are extremely shy try and get the breakfast scheduled later in the morning when things are quieter and fewer people are in the restaurant.
