Driving around Utah I can already see Halloween popping up everywhere. In stores, billboards, haunted houses, corn mazes and craft stores. Our family loves Halloween, dressing up, eating candy, decorating the home, enjoying co-workers and sharing the fun for the season.
October is also the time to decide what to wear for Halloween. Each year I normally dress up as a witch. I love witches ever since I was a child enjoying Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. I always thought the Queen was so much prettier than Snow White and I wanted to be just that pretty.
This year I want to dress up as something different and more unique. Maybe I will be a Fairy Angel giving light to those around me!
The top children costumes this year are Indiana Jones, Star Wars Jedi, Hercules, Batman, inflatable costumes, Hannah Montana, The Joker, Minnie Mouse (how cute), Transformers, Bat girl, Dash from Disney The Incredibles, Neon Witch, Strawberry Shortcake (I love how the strawberry shortcake doll smells).
Another wonderful trend is getting costumes for pets. They are cheap, cute and make the whole scene when trick-or-treating!
Check out these costumes:
Bee, Wizard of Oz, Witch, Batman, skunk, hot diggity dog, star wars YODA, K-9 cop, pirate pup, pumpkin pooch, strawberry short cake, ketchup hot dog, fairy princess, football fever, and cheer leading.
